1. How long has your church had the Tuesday School Program?
Tuesday School at the Spring Hill Church of Christ was started in the Fall of 2000.

2. How many children do you usually have on average each year in Tuesday School? We average about 40 children per year.

3. What is the ratio of teachers to students in the average classroom? We have one teacher and one helper in each class. We average about 10 - 12 students per class.

4. Do you have any certified professional teachers on your Tuesday School staff? We are blessed to have two certified teachers volunteering their time and talents for our Tuesday School children.

5. Does my child need any school supplies (pencils, crayons, paper, backpack, etc.)? No supplies are needed. We do ask that every child have a backpack.

6. Is there a deadline for enrollment or can my child start at any time during the school year? As long as they are 3 years old, they may start at any time.

7. If my child starts half way through the school year, is the entire donation of $50 still applicable? Yes.

8. Since the Tuesday School staff is made up of volunteers and they are not paid, for what is the $50 donation used? The donation is used to provide supplies, Biblical resources, classroom decorations, and healthy snacks.

9. Can I, as a parent, stay with my child during Tuesday School or do you feel this would hinder teaching my child? We prefer that you drop your child off and leave because we this gives your child the best experience in Tuesday School. However, if you absolutely feel you must stay, we welcome you.

10. Am I allowed to help out with the Tuesday School program? Yes, we are always looking for volunteers to help out!

11. What types of snacks will be fed to my child? Healthy snacks such as cheese & crackers, and juice.

12. What can you tell me about the facilities that you use for Tuesday School? We are blessed to occupy a former elementary school building. We have school-sized classrooms, a cafeteria, and a full-sized gym.

13. Is the Tuesday School staff CPR certified? We have a few teachers certified in first aid and in CPR.

14. If the emergency contact numbers are unable to be reached, what hospital would my child be taken to? The new Atrium Hospital.

15. Is it possible to meet with my child's teacher periodically for an evaluation on how my child is doing? Yes. We just ask that you please arrange an appointment ahead of time with your child's teacher.

16. Do you have an emergency disaster plan in place in the event of a tornado, fire, etc.? Yes.

17. What are the religious beliefs of your church at Spring Hill and does it matter if my family attends a church of a different faith? No, it does not matter what church you attend, your child is always welcome at our Tuesday School. Our church believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is the standard by we which we try to live and teach. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins and arose from the grave to conquer sin, death, and Satan.
